GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Santa Fe College Softball (21-11) went past the 20-win mark with a sweep of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College on Thursday, extending its winning streak to four games in the process.
GAME 1 – SF 4, ABAC 1
A GAME-CHANGING PLAY
All four of the Saints' runs came in the bottom of the fourth inning, and three came across in one at-bat. Two baserunners touched home on a passed ball, then Jayelyn Carter's RBI groundout scored Abbigail Heywood.
TEAM COMPARISON
The Fillies had eight hits compared to six for the Saints, but Kensley Durrance was able scatter them across her complete game outing from the circle.
Only one SF error was committed in Game 1…
Neither side was very active on the basepaths.
