"In baseball and in life, there is a measure of sacrifice required to achieve something great. Whether it is time, resources, or sleep. To a college student, these are invaluable.  As you will see by Tate's stature, he sets the bar very high. And he does so in a number of ways, many unseen by his coaches and teammates. Always willing to volunteer his time to our community, his classwork, and to the game of baseball. His leadership will be missed and his shoes, obviously, hard to fill.  Baseball's Running Stallion Award is presented to Team Captain, Tate Kight.
